Job summary

ConnectYou is seeking a Project Engineer - Civil/Structural to join a growing EPC contractor delivering major energy and infrastructure projects across Australia. You will support civil and structural engineering delivery from pre-construction to completion, coordinating with site teams, design consultants and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and timely delivery.

You will review drawings and technical documentation, manage RFIs and design changes, and assist in QA/QC, ITPs and project

Qualifications

• Experience in civil/structural construction on renewable energy projects.
• Understanding of earthworks, foundations, piling, drainage and concrete works.
• Experience with drawings, specifications and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support civil and structural engineering activities across major projects.
• Coordinate engineering requirements between design, construction and subcontractor teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation prior to and during construction.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, design changes and engineering documentation.
• Support the preparation and review of ITPs, ITRs, NCRs, quality records and as-built documentation.
• Monitor site works to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications and applicable standards.
• Provide engineering support across earthworks, foundations, piling, drainage, access roads, concrete works and associated civil infrastructure.
• Identify technical and construction risks and assist in developing practical solutions.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers regarding technical requirements, quality and programme.
• Support site inspections, quality audits and verification of completed works.
• Assist with project reporting, planning and coordination of engineering activities.
• Provide technical input into procurement, variations and project close-out where required.

We are recruiting for aProject Engineer - Civil/Structural, to join a growing EPC contractor delivering major energy and infrastructure projects across Australia.

This role will support the civil and structural engineering delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, design consultants and internal engineering functions, you will help coordinate technical requirements, resolve construction issues and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications, quality requirements and relevant Australian Standards.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or Civil Engineer position within construction on renewable energy projects.
• Practical experience supporting civil and structural construction packages.
• Strong understanding of civil construction activities including earthworks, foundations, piling, drainage, access roads and concrete works.
• Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Good understanding of QA/QC processes and project quality requirements.Experience managing RFIs, technical queries, design changes and as-built documentation.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with construction teams, designers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Good understanding of Australian Standards and construction best practice.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
