Job summary

Hames Sharley is seeking a Project Enablers Lead to support Project Leaders through the project lifecycle from resource planning to close-out. You will manage complex modelling tasks, drive BIM and digital design systems, and align workflows with industry standards in a collaborative Sydney Studio on Gadigal Land.

We value hands-on delivery, cross-disciplinary coordination, and development of the practice's design technology roadmap, with flexible work arrangements and strong studio culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in architecture or a closely related built environment discipline.
• Registration as an architect, or eligibility for registration, is desirable.
• Preferred: 6-8+ years of relevant experience, however applications from candidates with less experience will also be considered.
• Advanced in Revit.
• Proficient in Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo and Autodesk Forma.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Leaders and Studio Leaders to plan team capacity and maintain operational efficiency, and forecast future resource needs by analysing project scopes, programs and timelines.
• Establish project foundations, including model setup, ACC configuration, workflows and project documentation.
• Work as a hands-on member of assigned project teams, undertaking the complex, sensitive, high-skill or automation-dependent modelling and documentation tasks that would otherwise lead to resource burn.
• Lead the development and ongoing refinement of the practice’s BIM and digital design systems, protocols, standards and policies, ensuring they align with the practice’s objectives and industry standards.
• Coordinate and manage model reviews, clash detection and reporting through ACC Model Coordination and Navisworks, providing clear outcomes to Project Leaders.
• Perform quality assessments on models and documentation before distribution, cross-checking markups received against completed work to verify completion.
• Contribute to the practice’s design technology roadmap and inform software licensing needs and vendor discussions.
