Job summary

KBR Government Solutions seeks a Project Construction Manager to lead major construction and renovation efforts for a 4,400-acre Alice Springs facility in Australia. You will supervise a team for 24/7 mission support, manage schedules, safety, cost, and regulatory compliance, and travel between local sites.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field, 7+ years of experience, and an active top-level clearance. Remote work is not available; onsite presence is essential.

Qualifications

• This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or Host Nation TS/PV clearance.
• Degree in Project Management, Civil, Construction, or Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum 7 years in construction/facility projects of similar scope and complexity.
• Minimum 5 years as Senior/Chief Project Manager supervising PMs, engineers and sub-contractors.
• Experience in 24x7x365 operational environments and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Direct facility construction and maintenance at each site; manage document control and drawings.
• Lead project construction planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling.
• Interpret drawings and implement specifications; resolve site issues.
• Enforce standards aligning with contract, regulatory and environmental requirements.
• Hire, train, and lead a versatile, technically skilled workforce.
• Monitor contractual obligations and regulatory changes affecting operations.
• Coordinate activities to align with contract requirements and site operations.
• Provide technical support to keep critical infrastructure operations running 24/7.
