Job summary

Fulton Hogan Utilities in South Australia is seeking a Project Administrator to support the SA Water delivery team on major water infrastructure projects across Metropolitan Adelaide and regional SA. The role suits someone with 2+ years in a similar construction administration role and a desire to further develop their skills and career.

You will rely on strong IT skills, including advanced Excel and Word, and maintain accuracy in data entry while managing supplier and subcontractor information.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role in construction or related industry.
  • Strong IT skills with emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Experience with JDE is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent data entry and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Raise purchase orders for materials and sundry items and manage costing.
  • Record and maintain subcontractor and supplier information including insurance within Fulton Hogan systems.
  • Allocate and reconcile personnel and plant utilisation to projects.
  • Assist in preparation of subcontract agreements and monthly progress claims administration.
  • Prepare monthly contract progress claims.
  • Process accounts payable and other general admin tasks.

What's on offer?

We wish to complement our existing Contract Administration teams with a Project Administrator to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in South Australia supporting our SA Water delivery team. This role is vital to the delivery key water infrastructure project across Metropolitan Adelaide and Regional parts of South Australia. This role will suit a person who has had 2 or more years experience in a similar role in the construction industry and is wanting to further develop their skills and career.

In this role you'll be responsible for:
  • Raising purchase orders for materials and sundry items job costing and sending to supplier
  • Recording and maintaining subcontractor and supplier information including insurance policies within Fulton Hogan systems
  • Allocation and reconciliation of personnel and plant utilisation and costs to projects
  • Assist in preparation of subcontract agreements and administration of monthly progress claims
  • Preparation of monthly contract progress claims
  • Processing basic and routine functions related to accounts payable and other general business administration.
How you'll connect to the role:
  • Have good IT skills and advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • Experience with JDE will be an advantage, but is not essential
  • Have a high level of personal motivation
  • You will pride yourself on maintaining a high attention to detail, with strong data entry skills
  • Ability to problem solve
