Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Southeast Queensland utilities delivery team. This permanent opportunity supports career progression and enables you to drive end-to-end water and wastewater infrastructure projects for clients and communities.

You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage design-build contracts, and ensure safe, on-budget delivery while building strong client and stakeholder relationships across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
• 8–10 years’ experience delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong design management, construction delivery, procurement and commercial management.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholders.
• Commitment to Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0 Culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Drive safety, quality, cost, risk and schedule performance.
• Build and lead high-performing project teams through coaching.
• Maintain relationships with clients, designers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Implement strong commercial and project controls including forecasting and contracts management.

We wish to complement our existing Fulton Hogan Utilities team with an experienced Project Manager to join our Southeast Queensland business. In this role you'll be responsible for

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs and pipeline networks
• Managing projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover to achieve client and program outcomes utilising your experience in Design and Build contracting models
• Driving project performance across safety, quality, cost, risk and schedule to ensure successful delivery
• Building and leading high-performing project teams through coaching, mentoring and capability development
• Managing enduring relationships with clients, designers, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Implementing strong commercial and project controls, including forecasting, reporting, contracts management.

How you'll connect to the role

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
• 8-10 years' experience delivering major infrastructure projects in a Project Manager capacity preferably in a Design Build environment
• Proven experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, and pipeline construction
• Strong understanding of design management, construction delivery, procurement and commercial management
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments
