Job summary

Uniting AgeWell in Geelong is seeking a Program Manager in Home Care and Respite to lead regional services with a focus on client choice and independence. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets, and drive service development to deliver high-quality, compliant care that improves wellbeing.

You will steer program growth, ensure audit readiness, and embed a values-driven BEST culture across the team, shaping outcomes for clients and the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in aged care or health services.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in service delivery settings.
  • Strong financial management capability, including budgets and targets.
  • Experience delivering client-focused services that improve independence and wellbeing.
  • Knowledge of aged care standards, compliance and risk management.

About the role:

Based in Waurn Ponds, this Program Manager position is a key leadership role within Home Care, working closely with the Director to deliver high quality services to older people in the community. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and oversee the delivery of Home Care and Respite programs, ensuring services are safe, compliant and genuinely centred on client choice and independence. The role balances operational leadership, financial stewardship and service development, including growth of fee-for-service offerings. You will play a hands-on role in shaping team capability, improving service delivery and driving strong outcomes for clients and the organisation. This is a role where your leadership directly impacts quality of life for the people you serve.

What You'll Bring:
