Job summary

Uniting AgeWell invites applications for a Program Manager in Waurn Ponds, Geelong region. The role leads Home Care and Respite services, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, client‑centred care with strong operational and financial oversight.

You will shape service development, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and drive growth initiatives while maintaining a focus on client independence and wellbeing.

About the role:

Based in Waurn Ponds, this Program Manager position is a key leadership role within Home Care, working closely with the Director to deliver high quality services to older people in the community. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and oversee the delivery of Home Care and Respite programs, ensuring services are safe, compliant and genuinely centred on client choice and independence. The role balances operational leadership, financial stewardship and service development, including growth of fee-for-service offerings. You will play a hands-on role in shaping team capability, improving service delivery and driving strong outcomes for clients and the organisation. This is a role where your leadership directly impacts quality of life for the people you serve.

  • Lead day-to-day operations of Home Care and Respite services across your region

  • Identify growth opportunities, including implementing and expanding fee-for-service models
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven leadership experience in aged care, health or community services
  • Track record managing multidisciplinary teams in service delivery settings
  • Strong financial management capability, including budgets and targets to ensure financial sustainability
  • Experience delivering client-focused services that improve independence and wellbeing
  • Knowledge of aged care standards, compliance and risk management
  • Ability to lead service improvement, audits and accreditation readiness
