Job summary

Synergie Group in Clayton, Victoria, is seeking Production Operators for a global paint manufacturer to join their team.

This role offers immediate start, Monday to Friday with potential Saturday, day shift 6am–2pm, with overtime flexibility. Pay rate is $34.96p/h, increasing to $36.81 after 8 weeks of training, and there is opportunity for permanent conversion for the right individual.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
• Able to clear police check and drug/alcohol assessments.
• Physically fit, able to lift up to 20 kg.
• Have full working rights in Australia with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production and mixing equipment up to 20kg.
• Assist with colour matching, batching, and quality checks.
• Label, fill, and package paint products.
• Carry out machine calibration, cleaning and changeovers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment across production stages.

The important parts:

• Immediate start
• Monday to Friday with potential Saturday
• Day shift: 6am – 2pm (must be flexibleforovertime)
• Pay rate: $34.96p/h, will increase to $36.81 after 8 weeks of training.

What you will be required to do:

• Dealing with non-evasive chemicals
• Operate and monitor automated production and mixing equipment up to 20kg
• Assist with colour matching, batching, and quality checks
• Perform labelling, filling, and packaging of paint products
• Carry out machine calibration, cleaning, and changeovers
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all stages of production

To be successful in the role you will:

• Previous machine operating experience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical. Chemistry or engineering background highly regarded.
• Ability to clear police check and drug & alcohol assessments.
• Physically fit, lifting up to 20kg when required.
• Have full working rights in Australia with no restrictions (No Student or Working Holiday VISAs)
• Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work.
