Design & Build Recruitment is seeking Production Operators for a leading Australian manufacturer of complementary medicines, vitamins and health supplements. Roles are based in South-West Sydney with 24/7 shift potential and 12-hour day or night shifts as the site moves to full coverage.

You will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and follow SOPs in a fast-paced cleanroom environment while maintaining GMP standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and basic numeracy/literacy skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, regulated setting.
• Able to work where dust may be present and physically capable of standing and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment following SOPs.
• Dismantle, clean and set up machinery and equipment.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain documentation.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration and cleaning.
• Maintain GMP compliance and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support changeovers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

About the Role

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of complementary medicines, vitamins, and health supplements, producing a wide range of products including tablets, hard and soft gel capsules, liquids, powders, creams, gels, and probiotics. Recognised multiple times by industry peers for the quality of their products, they are now seeking experienced Production Operators to join their growing team.

This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced cleanroom environment, operating equipment and performing quality checks to ensure consistent, high‑quality output.

We are looking for operators with a background in one or more of the following:

• Compressing (tablet and hard-shell capsule production)
• Dispensing, granulation, and blending
• Coating
• Liquids, powders, and bottles
• Soft gel capsules

Shifts

Multiple roles are available across day, afternoon, and night shifts. The site is transitioning to 24/7 12-hour shifts, so successful candidates must be willing to move to 12-hour day or night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment following SOPs
