SMART Vermont, part of AMA Group, seeks a driven Production Manager to lead a high‑performing collision repair workshop in Vermont VIC. You’ll drive safety, quality, and on‑time delivery while mentoring a proactive team of technicians and supporting workshop profitability.

In this full‑time role, you will manage end‑to‑end repairs, coordinate parts and materials, and uphold OEM standards. Strong communication, organisation, and hands‑on leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in collision repair or similar workshop environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate teams.
• Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
• Comfort delegating work and managing workflow.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and team success.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and motivated Production Manager for our SMART Vermont team.

This is your chance to step into a key leadership role as a Production Manager, where you’ll play a critical part in driving performance, quality, and team success.

You’ll lead from the front, ensuring the workshop runs seamlessly, repairs meet OEM standards, and every vehicle is delivered with excellence.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. No weekends!

What You'll Do

• Leading a safe, efficient, and high-performing workshop environment
• Managing the end-to-end repair process, from vehicle arrival through to completion
• Ensuring all repairs are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality
• Coordinating parts, paint, and consumables to keep production flowing
• Driving productivity to meet targets and exceed customer expectations
• Supporting site profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards
• Mentoring and motivating your team to perform at their best
• Maintaining an organised, professional, and well-managed workshop

You're a proven leader in the collision repair industry, with the drive and capability to bring out the best in people and processes.

• Experience in a similar management or leadership role in the collision repair industry
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• A strong ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
• Confidence in delegating and managing workflow
• Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
