Job summary

Capital SMART is seeking a Repair Centre Manager to lead the Victoria West team, inspiring staff, driving smooth operations, and delivering high-quality repairs on time while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years in a management role within the automotive industry.
• Trade qualification as Panel Beater or Spray Painter.
• Strong motivation and a results-driven mindset to exceed targets.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective people management skills.
• Full Australian work rights are required.
• Commitment to safety as a top priority.

Responsibilities

• Organise team and workflow through production.
• Ensure quality repair is completed to scope within time frame.
• Coach and develop team to improve capability and productivity.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and assess vehicle damage.
• Check repair is completed correctly at each stage and sign off QA.
• Maintain a clean and safe site at all times.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the State Area Manager, you will inspire your team, ensure smooth operations, and create a positive, high-performing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Organise team and workflow through production
• Ensure quality repair is completed to scope within time frame
• Coach and develop team to improve capability and productivity
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and assess vehicle damage
• Check repair is completed correctly at each stage of repair and complete final sign off of QA
• Ensure the site is kept clean and safe at all times.
• Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in a management role within the automotive industry.
• Trade qualification as a Panel Beater, Spray Painter, or a related automotive role.
• Strong motivation and a results-driven mindset to consistently exceed targets.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective people management skills.
