Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food – Derrimut VIC is seeking a Repair Centre Manager to lead Capital SMART teams in Victoria West. You’ll drive operations, quality control and team performance in a dynamic, safety‑minded workshop environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in the automotive sector.
• Trade qualification as a Panel Beater or Spray Painter or similar.
• Strong drive to exceed targets with leadership skills.
• Full Australian work rights and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Organise team and workflow through production.
• Ensure quality repair to scope within time frame.
• Coach and develop team to improve capability and productivity.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and assess vehicle damage.
• Check repairs at each stage and sign off QA.
• Maintain clean and safe site conditions.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

• Organise team and workflow through production
• Ensure quality repair is completed to scope within time frame
• Coach and develop team to improve capability and productivity
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and assess vehicle damage
• Check repair is completed correctly at each stage of repair and complete final sign off of QA
• Ensure the site is kept clean and safe at all times.
• Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in a management role within the automotive industry.
• Trade qualification as a Panel Beater, Spray Painter, or a related automotive role.
• Strong motivation and a results-driven mindset to consistently exceed targets.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective people management skills.
• Full Australian work rights are required.
• Commitment to making safety the top priority for yourself, colleagues, and customers
