Job summary

SMART Fyshwick in Australia is hiring a Workshop/Production Manager to oversee daily workshop operations, drive productivity and quality, and lead a team of trade-qualified technicians to deliver efficient repairs.

If you are an experienced leader in the collision repair industry who is passionate about people, safety, and delivering outstanding results, we'd love to hear from you. This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday with strong support from the Repair Centre Manager and team.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within the collision repair industry.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to set priorities, delegate, and meet deadlines.
• Trade qualifications in Panel Beating or Spray Painting (advantage).

We are seeking a motivated Workshop/ Production Manager for our SMART Fyshwick location.

In this role you'll oversee daily workshop operations, drive productivity and quality standards, and lead a team of trade-qualified technicians to deliver efficient, high-quality repairs.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous management experience within the collision repair industry (essential)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making capability
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to set priorities, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
• Trade qualifications in Panel Beating or Spray Painting (highly regarded)
