Job summary

Domus Lighting Pty Ltd. is seeking an organized Operations & Production Coordinator in Sydney to develop and manage stock controls and workflows supporting production and warehouse operations.

You will partner with production, warehouse and sales teams to maintain accessories availability, coordinate priorities and ensure production is prepared for execution. The role emphasizes establishing a robust stock system, accuracy, and timely replenishment.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations coordination or production planning in wholesale, distribution or manufacturing.
• Strong Excel skills: formulas, lookups and pivot tables for stock analysis.
• Experience improving stock control systems and production processes.
• Experience managing supplier orders with long lead times and coordinating freight.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an organised stock management system for production accessories and components.
• Establish storage structures, item identification, labeling standards and stock location controls.
• Manage stock levels, analyse usage and coordinate replenishment for production needs.
• Develop cycle-counting and stocktake processes and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate system records for accessories and components, including usage, returns, damaged stock and wastage.
• Plan and coordinate preparation of components for scheduled production with warehouse and production teams.
• Develop and maintain component lists and bills of materials in consultation with production and product teams.
• Liaise with suppliers on product availability, order progress and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate production priorities and ensure teams have information and materials to complete work.
• Identify shortages, delays and issues early and coordinate action.
