Job summary

Australian Optimal Recruitment – Sydney NSW is seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator for a permanent full-time role within a manufacturing environment. You will manage stock movements, conduct cycle counts, and ensure ERP transactions are accurate to keep stock moving efficiently.

You'll work closely with 3PL and purchasing teams, investigate discrepancies, and contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and orderly stock controls on the floor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, reliable and organised in warehouse/inventory environment.
• ERP systems experience, Syspro highly regarded.
• Analytical skills to interpret stock data and identify discrepancies.
• Goods flow, stock reconciliation, inventory reporting and stock control knowledge.
• Understanding of GMP, safety, compliance and quality requirements in warehousing.
• Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills.
• Attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and time management, with ability to handle competing priorities.
• Professional, dependable and proactive approach; team-focused attitude.
• Forklift licence highly regarded or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stock movements across warehouses and 3PL partners, ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
• Conduct cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory checks, investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and process stock adjustments; ensure timely ERP transactions.
• Manage inbound stock, returns, obsolete and excess inventory.
• Prepare inventory reports and monitor stock accuracy, trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, purchasing and other teams to improve processes.
• Support audits, documentation and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain a safe, organised working environment.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
