Job summary

Liquip International Pty Ltd is seeking a Production Planning Assistant to support our manufacturing operations in NSW. Based at our Wetherill Park facility, you will help coordinate schedules, manage workflows, and optimise production processes to meet customer demands and business objectives.

You will work closely with the production planning team and the Production Manager to ensure smooth operations, accurate data, and timely reporting while contributing to continuous improvement and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing support.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production planning software/ERP.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to data entry accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is advantageous.
• Relevant qualification or certification in production planning, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules and timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and material availability for production.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to track progress and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare production reports and performance metrics.
• Liaise between production, procurement and logistics for material flow.
• Manage production orders and work-in-progress tracking.
• Identify scheduling inefficiencies and support process improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the production planning department.
