Job summary

Primary Connect is seeking a Production Analyst for the night shift in Moorebank, NSW. The role focuses on coordinating product flow through the facility, leveraging automation, and driving improvements within a state-of-the-art operation.

You will work with SCADA systems, monitor performance, and ensure data integrity across IT platforms while collaborating with a Safety-first culture and a broad Woolworths Group network.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operations, preferably in fast-paced distribution or order fulfilment.
  • Experience in planning, process control or workflow control with ability to measure and monitor processes/data.
  • Strong emphasis on safety protocols and risk management in operations.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and delivering results in complex environments.
  • Exposure to automation control systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products and orders flow through the facility per the operational plan, meeting dispatch windows.
  • Identify areas for improvement and coordinate optimization initiatives.
  • Become a subject matter expert and super-user of the automation control systems with training.
  • Monitor system performance trends and coordinate responses to faults or deviations.
  • Maintain data integrity within IT systems to ensure high-quality information.

Welcome to Moorebank

Located in Moorebank NSW, MoNDC and MoRDC are the latest distribution centres being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 44,900 sqm facility – equivalent to almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). This will strengthen Primary Connect's national supply chain and service more than 1,000 Woolworths Supermarkets across Australia with more than 12,000 product lines.

What you'll do
  • Ensure the flow of products and orders through the facility is carried out according to the operational plan, so that store orders are marshalled on time and meeting dispatch windows.
  • Identify areas for improvement, process enhancement, and optimisation.
  • With support and training, become a subject matter expert and super‑user of the automation control systems.
  • Identify system performance trends, unplanned faults and/or performance or functional deviations, and plan, initiate and coordinate appropriate response and recovery actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain data integrity within the IT systems to ensure quality of information.
What you'll bring
  • Proven experience in an operations role, preferably in a fast‑paced distribution centre or order fulfilment environment.
  • Proven experience in a role encompassing planning, process control or workflow control with a well‑developed capability to measure and monitor processes and process data/dashboards.
  • A deep understanding of safety protocols and risk management, with a commitment to ensuring that safety is embedded in all aspects of operations.
  • A track record of driving continuous improvement and delivering results in a complex, matrix environment.
  • Exposure to SCADA systems would also be highly regarded.
