Job summary

CNH Industrial in Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Product Support Specialist based in St Marys NSW to provide expert technical support for our construction equipment portfolio. Working closely with dealers, customers, and internal teams, you will help reduce machine downtime and resolve complex issues.

You will travel to dealer and customer sites as required, conduct inspections and assessments, and support new product launches and field campaigns.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in heavy equipment or related field.
• Experience with construction equipment or heavy machinery.
• Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for construction equipment
• Investigate and resolve complex hydraulic, electrical, engine, powertrain, and electronic system issues
• Support dealers through technical guidance, coaching, and training
• Manage escalated customer and machine downtime cases
• Review warranty claims and support product failure investigations
• Conduct dealer and customer site visits, machine inspections, and technical assessments
• Support new product launches, field campaigns, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with engineering, product support, and quality teams to improve product reliability

Job Purpose

Take your technical expertise beyond the workshop and into a role where you'll influence machine performance, dealer capability, and customer satisfaction across Australia and New Zealand.

Working closely with dealers, customers, and internal teams, you'll play a key role in reducing machine downtime, resolving complex technical issues, and improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for construction equipment
• Investigate and resolve complex hydraulic, electrical, engine, powertrain, and electronic system issues
• Support dealers through technical guidance, coaching, and training
• Manage escalated customer and machine downtime cases
• Review warranty claims and support product failure investigations
• Conduct dealer and customer site visits, machine inspections, and technical assessments
• Support new product launches, field campaigns, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with engineering, product support, and quality teams to improve product reliability

Experience Required

• Trade qualified in Heavy Equipment, Diesel Mechanics, Automotive, Agricultural Machinery, or a related field
• Strong experience with construction equipment or heavy machinery
• Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Experience working with dealer networks, field service, or technical support environments
• Customer-focused with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable travelling to dealer and customer sites as required
