Job summary

Afrimat (KZN Central) seeks a Procurement Officer to manage purchasing and stock for multiple sites from its Vryheid base. You will create orders, coordinate stock requirements, and ensure timely supply using the X3 and on-key systems.

The role requires a Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management with 2–3 years in purchasing and office administration, plus a valid driver’s license and strong Excel and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Competent in Microsoft Excel and general computer-based administration

Responsibilities

• Creating orders from the X3 and on-key system
• Making enquiries for stock required for all sites
• Managing inbound and outbound inventory distribution
• Processing RFCs and onboarding dispatch of stock items to project sites
• Good communication with internal and external clients
• Signing off orders for the cluster from the X3 system

Procurement Officer

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
• General experience 2-3 years in purchasing, procurement and office administration.
• Must have a driver's license
• Competent in Microsoft Excell and general computer - based administration.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up proactively.

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

• Creating orders from the X3 and on-key system.
• Making enquires for stock required for all sites.
• Managing inbound and outbound inventory distribution.
• Processing RFC's and managing the onboarding of dispatch of stock items to project sites.
• Good communication with internal and external clients
• Signing off orders for the cluster from the X3 system.

The candidates must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.
