Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a major mining construction project south of Perth. This 6-month contract role involves coordinating electrical works, managing contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring quality and safety compliance on site.

You will contribute to the project delivery from construction into commissioning, using your electrical engineering background and strong stakeholder collaboration to support a large industrial facility upgrade.

Qualifications

• Contractor-side experience delivering construction projects in mining/resources sectors.
• Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Project Engineer on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction and project delivery.
• White Card with compliance to site safety requirements.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence is required.
• Ability to work effectively with construction teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Commissioning experience is desirable as the project moves from construction to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities, contractors and subcontractors across the project.
• Manage technical documentation, quality and safety requirements for electrical works.
• Support delivery of electrical works on site from construction through commissioning.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and safe execution.
