Job summary

Heritage Minerals in Mount Morgan is seeking a Processing Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the new processing plant. You will lead operators, ensure safe, compliant, and efficient mineral processing, and drive continuous improvement with CIL and ReCYN process awareness.

ISA mill experience is a plus and a strong focus on safety and teamwork will be essential. This role offers a challenging, hands-on leadership position with a rotating roster (8/6, 7/7 nights) and the opportunity to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in mineral processing or a similar role within the mining industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the mining sector.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse processing performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of processing operators, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.

• Conduct regular inspections of processing equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Understand and promote utilisation of availability and have processing discipline for continuous improvement as part of your DNA

Summary:

The Processing Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the processing plant in Mount Morgan, ensuring efficient and safe processing of minerals. This role is crucial for maintaining production targets and quality standards while adhering to health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will lead a team of operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the processing plant - to be successful you will have relevant CIL experience and be aware of or keen to understand the ReCYN process which is a significant point of difference in this newly built processing plant. If you have ISA mill experience you would be a complete package!
