Job summary

NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Processing Superintendent to lead the day-to-day operations of the Pajingo processing plant in Queensland. The role requires delivering safe, efficient processing, supervising four shift supervisors, and coordinating shutdowns and plant upgrades.

Ideal candidates will have metallurgy or chemical engineering qualifications, strong leadership, and proven experience in gold processing operations, with a focus on safety, throughput, and environmental

Qualifications

• A strong commitment to safety and training.
• Tertiary qualifications in metallurgy, chemical engineering or a related field preferred.
• Experience in gold processing operations.
• Strong knowledge of processing circuits and equipment, including troubleshooting and optimisation.
• A background leading teams at supervisor or superintendent level.
• A clear understanding of throughput, recovery and plant availability.
• Experience working with maintenance personnel on shutdowns and upgrade work.
• Confidence managing tailings and working within site environmental requirements.
• A leadership style that holds people accountable and maintains expected standards.
• Prior experience with an operation involving heavy mobile machinery (forklifts, loaders, skid steer, excavators) is desirable.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Solid skills across the Microsoft Suite.

• Being part of the planning and execution of plant upgrades and shutdowns.
• Providing input into the annual Capital and Operational budget process.
