Job summary

Heritage Minerals in Mount Morgan is seeking a Processing Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the new processing plant. You will lead operators, ensure safe, compliant, and efficient mineral processing, and drive continuous improvement with CIL and ReCYN process awareness.

ISA mill experience is a plus and a strong focus on safety and teamwork will be essential. This role offers a challenging, hands-on leadership position with a rotating roster (8/6, 7/7 nights) and the opportunity to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in mineral processing or a similar role within the mining industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the mining sector.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily processing operations to meet production targets.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Monitor and analyse processing performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
Lead, train, and develop a team of processing operators, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of production data and reports.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
Conduct regular inspections of processing equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
Understand and promote utilisation of availability and have processing discipline for continuous improvement as part of your DNA
