Job summary

South32 seeks a Superintendent Processing Services in Australia to lead safe, reliable delivery of Processing Services across ROM operations, water management, tailings and onsite power. You will provide leadership and governance to ensure stable, efficient processing facilities.

The role features a 4:3 FIFO roster with options from Brisbane and Townsville and DIDO from remote townships, emphasizing contractor management and continuous improvement to meet site standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mining or mineral processing operations.
• Knowledge of ROM operations, ore management and tailings facilities.
• Familiarity with GISTM requirements and critical risk mgmt.
• Strong stakeholder and contractor management with multi-disciplinary leadership.

Responsibilities

• Govern contractor performance, service delivery and commercial obligations.
• Ensure TSF operations comply with GISTM, legislation and site standards.
• Support open cut transition plans including mine-to-mill integration and future infrastructure.
• Drive operational excellence, cost control and continuous improvement across accountable areas.
