Job summary

South32 is seeking a Superintendent Processing Services for our Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. This role offers a 4:3 roster with FIFO options from Brisbane or Townsville and DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay Shires.

• Operational leadership in mining or mineral processing environments.
• Strong governance of tailings facilities and water systems.
• Stakeholder engagement and multidisciplinary team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Govern contractor performance, service delivery and commercial obligations.
• Ensure TSF operations comply with GISTM, legislation and site standards.
• Support open cut transition plans, including mine-to-mill integration.
• Drive operational excellence, cost control and continuous improvement.
