Bendworx in Australia is seeking a Steel Processing Operator to work with precision machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Youll read drawings, set up presses, plate rollers and section rollers, perform quality checks, and keep work areas clean while supporting daily targets and a safe workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Previous industry experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate Press Brakes, Plate Rollers and Section Rollers to bend, shape, and form metal components.
• Read and interpret drawings, instructions, and work orders.
• Set up machines, including selecting and installing appropriate tools and dies.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and make adjustments as necessary.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures and contribute to our safe working environment.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and achieve daily targets.
