About the Role

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring press brake machinery to manufacture components in accordance with engineering drawings and production requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments as required.
• Monitor production runs and identify any quality or performance issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Safely handle raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with fabrication, welding, and assembly teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience operating press brake machinery advantageous, but not necessary as training will be provided.
