BOC Limited Australia in Preston (VIC) is seeking a Process Operator to join a global gases business. You will perform production duties across areas, follow procedures, report deviations and hazards, and support the manufacture of medical cylinders and industrial gas products.

The role requires forklift competency (preferred), formal production certifications, and at least two years in an industrial environment. You should be flexible to day/afternoon shifts and relief as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Operate across production areas with daily movement as required.
• Report deviations, non-conformances and safety hazards/incidents.
• Handle and fill medical cylinders following Australian GMP standards.
• Fill industrial gases per company specifications (Air, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Argoshield).
• Carry out duties as directed by Team Leader within competence.
• Maintain physical/medical fitness for the role.

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Conducting work in accordance with procedures and reporting deviations
• Reporting and recording product non-conformances
• Reporting hazards & incidents (including those with environmental consequences)
• The incumbent will be required to perform production duties in all areas and may be required to move between production areas daily if necessary.
• The incumbent must commit to the agreed roster system in each area in which they are committed to work.
• Filling and handling of all medical cylinders in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products.
• Filling of Industrial Air Products gases i.e. Air, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Argoshield gas mixtures plus all special gas mixtures at MOC to company specifications.
• Undertake any duties as directed by your Team Leader that are within the appropriate levels of competence and training and consistent with this role.
• Exhibit a level of physical/medical fitness intrinsic to the requirements of the position.

What Makes You Great

• The ability and willingness to work relief work when required.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend operating procedures and communicate answers under test conditions.
• An understanding of the implications relating to working within the guidelines of the Dangerous Goods Act.
