Job summary

BOC Limited Australia is seeking a Process Operator in Preston (VIC), Australia. You will perform production duties across areas, follow established procedures, and report deviations and hazards. The role requires flexibility with shift rosters and the ability to move between areas as needed.

Applicants should have a forklift competency (preferred) and formal certification in relevant production activities, plus two years in an industrial environment. Full work rights in Australia are required.

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Conducting work in accordance with procedures and reporting deviations
• Reporting and recording product non-conformances
• Reporting hazards & incidents (including those with environmental consequences)
• The incumbent will be required to perform production duties in all areas and may be required to move between production areas daily if necessary.
• The incumbent must commit to the agreed roster system in each area in which they are committed to work.
• Filling and handling of all medical cylinders in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products.
• Filling of Industrial Air Products gases i.e. Air, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Argoshield gas mixtures plus all special gas mixtures at MOC to company specifications.
• Undertake any duties as directed by your Team Leader that are within the appropriate levels of competence and training and consistent with this role.
• Exhibit a level of physical/medical fitness intrinsic to the requirements of the position.

What Makes You Great

• Forklift operator’s competency (preferred)
• Formal certification in relevant production activities.
• Two-year exposure to industrial environment
• The ability and willingness to work day shift and afternoon shifts, on a rotational or relief basis if necessary.
• The ability and willingness to work relief work when required.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend operating procedures and communicate answers under test conditions.
• An understanding of the implications relating to working within the guidelines of the Dangerous Goods Act.
