Job summary

Linde ANZ is seeking a production operator in Melbourne to work across production areas, following procedures and reporting deviations. The role involves filling medical cylinders and industrial gas mixtures, with roster-based shifts and adherence to safety and GMP standards.

Candidates should have formal production certifications and at least two years in an industrial environment, with the ability to read SOPs and work on rotating day/afternoon shifts as required.

• Ability to read, write, comprehend operating procedures and communicate under test conditions.
• Understanding of the Dangerous Goods Act implications.

Responsibilities

• Reporting deviations and conducting work per procedures.
• Reporting and recording product non-conformances.
• Reporting hazards and incidents including environmental consequences.
• Performing production duties across all areas and moving between production areas as needed.
• Complying with the roster system in each area.
• Filling and handling medical cylinders per GMP for Medicinal Products.
• Filling of industrial gas mixtures per specifications at MOC.
• Carrying out duties as directed by Team Leader within competence level.
• Maintaining acceptable physical/medical fitness for the role.

Job description

• Conducting work in accordance with procedures and reporting deviations
• Reporting and recording product non-conformances
• Reporting hazards & incidents (including those with environmental consequences)
• The incumbent will be required to perform production duties in all areas and may be required to move between production areas daily if necessary.
• The incumbent must commit to the agreed roster system in each area in which they are committed to work.
• Filling and handling of all medical cylinders in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice for Medicinal Products
• Filling of Industrial Air Products gases i.e. Air, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Argoshield gas mixtures plus all special gas mixtures at MOC to company specifications
• Undertake any duties as directed by your Team Leader that are within the appropriate levels of competence and training and consistent with this role
• Exhibit a level of physical/medical fitness intrinsic to the requirements of the position
