Job summary

Melbourne Water is seeking a Business Process Analyst for a fixed-term 1-year assignment based in Docklands, VIC. You will partner with teams across the organisation to map end-to-end processes, identify performance gaps and design practical, sustainable processes aligned with business needs.

You will challenge existing ways of working, facilitate process improvement activities and help establish consistent process architecture and operating model practices, defining KPIs and implementation

Qualifications

Experience in mapping current-state processes and designing future-state solutions.
Ability to identify performance gaps and drive improvements across a large organisation.
Proven capability to engage stakeholders and influence outcomes at senior levels.

Responsibilities

Analyse and document existing processes, including workflows and business rules.
Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks through data analysis and stakeholder interviews.
Challenge current ways of working and facilitate process improvement activities.
Design and document new processes using process mapping software.
Define KPIs and report progress to stakeholders.
Prepare implementation plans to transition to the future state.
