Job summary

Melbourne Water is seeking a Business Process Analyst for a 1-year fixed term. You will partner with teams to map end-to-end processes, identify opportunities for improvement and design practical, sustainable processes aligned with business needs.

You will challenge current ways of working, facilitate improvements and help establish a robust operating model. Key activities include documenting workflows, data flows, and rules; measuring performance with KPIs; and preparing implementation plans

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business process analysis, continuous improvement or transformation environments.
• Ability to map current-state processes and design future-state solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document end-to-end processes, data flows and business rules.
• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks through data and stakeholder input.
• Design and document new processes using process mapping methods.
• Define KPIs to measure process performance and report progress to stakeholders.
• Develop implementation plans to transition to future state with cross-functional teams.
