Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Enterprise Productivity Program (EPP) initiatives from planning through to implementation.
• Facilitate cross-functional project teams and stakeholder groups to progress initiatives.
• Analyse current-state processes and redesign for productivity improvements.
• Lead process redesign, optimisation and implementation for EPP objectives, including automation/AI opportunities.
• Establish performance measures, baseline metrics and benefits tracking.
• Provide expert business improvement guidance to support initiative delivery.

About the Role

In this 2 year fixed term role the Business Process Improvement Manager will lead the identification, design and delivery of process improvements that make work simpler, more efficient and sustainable across the organisation. Working closely with leaders, subject matter experts and operational teams, the role will assess current processes, identify root causes and improvement opportunities, and design practical future-state solutions.

The role will facilitate workshops, develop process maps and improvement plans, manage risks, establish meaningful performance measures, and support teams to successfully implement and embed new ways of working. It requires a collaborative and influential leader who can turn complex business challenges into structured, measurable improvements that enhance service delivery, reduce inefficiencies and strengthen organisational performance.

• Lead the delivery of process related Enterprise Productivity Program (EPP) initiatives from planning through to implementation, supporting benefit realisation and ownership, ensuring agreed outcomes are achieved.
• Facilitate cross-functional project teams and stakeholder groups to progress approved business improvement initiatives and achieve delivery milestones.
• Analyse current-state processes and ways of working to support the redesign and implementation of approved productivity and effectiveness improvements.
• Lead process redesign, process optimisation and implementation activities required to deliver EPP initiative objectives, including opportunities for technology application for automation and/or AI.
• Establish and maintain appropriate performance measures, baseline metrics and benefits tracking mechanisms to monitor initiative outcomes and realised benefits.
• Provide expert business improvement and process optimisation advice to support the successful delivery of Enterprise Productivity Program initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for a highly influential business improvement leader with an experience in delivering complex transformation and productivity initiatives, who combines strong process optimisation expertise, stakeholder engagement skills and commercial acumen to drive measurable business, customer and organisational outcomes

About you:

You will bring a combination of business improvement expertise, strategic thinking, stakeholder influence and delivery capability, with a proven ability to lead complex transformation initiatives that improve productivity, optimise processes and deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Extensive experience leading complex business improvement, productivity and transformation initiatives within large and complex organisations.
• Advanced business process improvement and operational excellence expertise with strong process mapping, process analysis and redesign capability
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering measurable operational, customer, workforce and financial outcomes through business process improvement initiatives.
• Strong project delivery and stakeholder management experience, including leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Re-engineering, Value Stream Mapping, or similar approaches.
• Highly developed analytical, facilitation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive outcomes and implement change without direct authority.
