Job summary

Viatek Group is seeking a skilled field-service technician based in Mildura to service, repair and maintain printers and related equipment across customer sites. You will work on-site at customer locations and provide remote support, diagnosing issues and delivering prompt solutions while building strong customer relationships.

About the opportunity

This role involves servicing, maintaining and supporting printers, photocopiers and production devices across our customer base. You'll work both on-site at customer locations and remotely through our Remote Support Help Desk, diagnosing technical issues, delivering timely solutions, and building lasting customer relationships.

While we welcome applications from experienced printer and photocopier technicians, we're equally interested in hearing from people who have worked in other types of technical trades and are looking to develop a new specialty. If you're mechanically minded, enjoy understanding how things work and take pride in delivering great customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience servicing, repairing, installing or maintaining mechanical equipment
• Is technically minded and enjoys troubleshooting problems
• Has strong customer service and communication skills
• Likes working independently while managing their own day
• Enjoys driving to customer locations throughout the region
• Is organised, reliable and takes pride in delivering quality work
• Has basic computer skills and is comfortable learning new technology
• Is willing to undertake ongoing training and professional development

Experience That Would Be Highly Regarded

• Printer, photocopier or production print equipment servicing
• Field service technician roles
• Automotive, agricultural or mechanical trades
• Electrical, electronics or telecommunications experience
• IT hardware support or networking knowledge
• Other equipment maintenance or technical service roles
