MRAEL, in partnership with Insignia, is seeking a Printing Apprentice to join the production team at Wakerley, QLD for an ASAP start. The role is geared toward individuals currently in year 12 and offers a 4-year hands-on trade with a nationally recognised qualification.

No prior experience required—full training provided in a manufacturing environment with heavy machinery. You will begin with core printing tasks, progress through press setup and troubleshooting, and ultimately operate your own

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Open to students in year 12.
• Interest in printing and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Learn print production basics; 4-year apprenticeship.
• Wash ink trays and keep equipment clean.
• Assist with waste paper removal and housekeeping.
• Prepare materials, inks, and job components.
• Support qualified printers with press setups.
• Assist quality checks and finishing processes.
• Keep production area tidy and safe.
