Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Adelaide or Perth office. You will enhance local electrical engineering capabilities, mentor junior engineers, and work on mining, industrial and civil infrastructure projects.

You'll manage electrical components through feasibility, detailed design, procurement, site construction and commissioning, collaborating with a broad team across resources, transport, water and buildings to deliver high-impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Proven design experience in mining, local government, or heavy industry.
• Experience with HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems, and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical components across all project phases including feasibility, detailed design, procurement, site construction and commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineers across resources/industrial, transport, water and buildings projects.
• Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and help grow the team.
