Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Australia is seeking a highly experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering studies, designs and specifications across building services and infrastructure projects.

You will work with minimal supervision, provide high-level consultancy, mentor junior engineers and manage projects and proposals as a seller/doer. The role requires strong design expertise across LV/HV distribution, lighting, ICT, security, backup power, solar PV integration, and the ability

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write technical content fluently.
Proven experience as an electrical engineer within built environment or infrastructure sectors.
Experience in commercial or consulting environments.
Strong skills in concept and detailed design across a broad range of electrical systems.
Ability to manage and deliver complex projects with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering studies and detailed designs for buildings and infrastructure projects.
Deliver electrical services designs including lighting, LV distribution, ICT infrastructure, and solar PV integration.
Guide designers and drafters, review documentation and calculations.
Manage project teams and liaise with clients, authorities and external consultants.
