KBR’s Infrastructure Services Australia is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical building services design across defence, commercial, transport, healthcare and major infrastructure projects. You will guide projects from concept to delivery, mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive mechanical building services design experience with local codes and standards.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects to scope, budget and programme.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership, design reviews, quality assurance and mentoring to engineers and designers.
• Strong client-facing skills with ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Chartered Professional Engineer status or working towards Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical engineering discipline across a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Provide technical direction, design leadership and QA from concept through detailed design and delivery.
• Mentor engineers and designers to develop capabilities across the team.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Drive engineering excellence and innovative, practical solutions.
