Job summary

KBR in Adelaide invites an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team. You will deliver electrical engineering studies, designs and specifications across diverse infrastructure and building projects, working independently and with a multidisciplinary team.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with clients and authorities, and contribute to project delivery, including LV/HV distribution, lighting, ICT, security, and renewable energy integration, ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Progressing toward Chartered Engineer / CPEng / RPEQ status or eligibility.
Established experience in the built environment or infrastructure consultancy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
Ability to contribute to project delivery within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with electrical designs across LV/HV distribution, lighting, ICT and security.

Responsibilities

Deliver electrical engineering studies and detailed designs for building and infrastructure projects.
Design electrical systems including lighting, LV distribution, ICT, security, backup power, and solar PV.
Prepare and check electrical design calculations using manual and software tools.
Support development and review of drawings, specs, and technical documents.
Contribute to delivery of electrical work packages within multidisciplinary projects.
Mentor junior engineers and designers; manage smaller work packages.
