Job summary

Stantec in Perth is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead the Community Development team on urban and subdivision projects. You will manage design from feasibility through construction, liaise with clients, and mentor staff to grow the team’s capabilities.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery excellence, and development of client relationships within Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering required.
• Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, urban/land/subdivision experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordination and project management of urban, land and subdivision projects from feasibility through delivery.
• Prepare technical reports and specifications.
• Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects.
• Manage projects including scheduling and budgets.
• Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and drafters to enable growth.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and assist in business development.
