Job summary

Stantec's Community Development team in Australia seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to manage civil design and documentation for land, urban and subdivision projects across public and private sectors. You will coordinate with disciplines and lead projects from concept to delivery.

Based in NSW with offices in St Leonards, Nowra or Wollongong, the role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities to develop client relationships and contribute to a broad portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering design and delivery for urban, land and subdivision projects.
• Experience with design, modelling and construction technologies.
• Project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Detailed design and coordination of land, urban and subdivision projects, from feasibility through to construction.
• Project management of design elements from concept through to delivery.
• Preparing technical reports and specifications.
• Providing technical expertise to clients and support projects.
• Manage projects including scheduling and the preparation of project budgets.
• Coordinating between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
• Undertaking and manage site inspections.
• Contributing to the development of Stantec’s knowledge and skills in civil engineering including planning, design, and construction.
• Maintaining existing and developing new, trusted relationships with key clients.
• Assisting in the securing and delivery of projects by way of business development and client relationship management
