Job summary

Trippas White Group is seeking an experienced Event Sales & Planner to join the Sydney team at the National Gallery of Australia. You will manage corporate, social and wedding events from enquiry through proposal, contracting, planning, delivery and post-event follow-up.

The role focuses on maximizing revenue, nurturing client relationships, upselling opportunities and coordinating suppliers to deliver milestones that exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality or events.
• Proven ability to manage events from enquiry to completion.
• Strong client management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and outside hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full event journey from enquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Qualify enquiries and convert leads to confirmed business.
• Conduct site inspections and client meetings.
• Prepare proposals, contracts and event docs.
• Coordinate suppliers and internal teams for event delivery.
• Maintain CRM data and monitor pipeline to hit targets.
