Job summary

Commonwealth Bank's Premier Banking team is seeking a Premier Relationship Manager to grow a portfolio of high net worth customers across Australia. You’ll own the relationship end-to-end, deliver holistic banking solutions, and build trusted client partnerships across lending, deposits, and specialist expertise.

You’ll work with Associates and specialist teams, stay curious about client needs, and balance an autonomous, relationship-led role with flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in complex mortgage lending.
• Strong experience building and managing customer relationships within banking.
• Experience across a diversified range of products and customer needs.
• Commercial capability identifying opportunities to grow relationships.
• Ownership, autonomous working style.
• Strong collaboration with colleagues and partners.
• Curiosity about underlying customer needs.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, portfolio-based environment.
• Certificate IV accreditation in lending preferred.
• Accreditation across deposit products and general insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with high net worth customers.
• Manage lending, deposits, everyday banking and broader financial needs.
• Deliver quality financial health checks and identify relevant opportunities.
• Structure and support complex home and investment lending solutions.
• Grow and retain customer deposits while deepening relationships.
• Proactively manage your portfolio through regular customer contact.
• Develop new-to-bank and new-to-Premier relationships through referrals and networks.
• Partner with Associates and specialist teams to connect customers with the right expertise.
