Job summary

Epson Group in Victoria seeks an IT expert to join the Pre‑Sales team supporting our office and commercial print businesses. You will act as a technical representative for our sales operations, dealers and customers.

You will conduct product demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and coordinate installations, delivering tailored print solutions in diverse IT environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• IT network integration knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Pre-sales and solution design translating requirements.
• Print experience with large format or MFD is advantageous.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Certifications in relevant areas will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support cut-sheet and large format print applications.

Epson, a leader in printer and imaging markets, is seeking an IT guru to join our Pre‑Sales team supporting our growing office and commercial print businesses.

Reporting to our Team Leader Pre‑Sales, this role will act as a technical representative for our Victorian sales operations, supporting our sales team, dealers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cut‑sheet and large format print applications.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot print solutions in diverse IT environments.
• Collaborate with the sales team & service team to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Provide technical pre‑sales support, including product demonstrations, proofs‑of‑concept, and customer events.
• Lead technical presentations, training, and workshops to demonstrate the value of Epson technology to clients.
• Assist with installations either remotely or on‑site at customer locations.

Highly Desirable Skills & Experience

• IT Network Integration – Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure; ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network configuration.
• Technical Pre‑Sales & Solution Design – Ability to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions, product configurations, and service offerings; experience in presenting complex solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Print Experience (advantageous but not essential) – Background with A3 Multifunction Devices or Large Format printers (in Photo, proofing, signage, or textile); experience with third‑party print management software such as PaperCut.
• Project Management and Collaboration – Exceptional communication skills and ability to deliver effective training; strong collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Qualifications or certification in these areas will be highly regarded.
