Konica Minolta Australia is seeking a Field Service Engineer for our South Australian branch. You will install, maintain and support Colour and B&W print systems, software and service solutions on customer sites, delivering high-quality service and proactive maintenance.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent customer communication and a proactive service mindset, with opportunities for learning and career development within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a similar technical or field-based role with knowledge of IT networking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Current Driver's Licence and willingness to undergo background checks as required.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain and support Colour and B&W print equipment and related software on-site.
• Provide on-site corrective and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Deliver high level customer satisfaction and report outcomes to the SA State Service Delivery Manager.
• Show initiative in learning and developing new technical skills in a hands-on environment.

About The Role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our South Australian branch. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of Colour and B&W print equipment, ancillary products, and associated software and service solutions.

As part of the South Australian Service Team, you will help deliver a high level of customer satisfaction by providing on‑site corrective and preventative maintenance for customer equipment, reporting to the SA State Service Delivery Manager.

Previous experience in the print industry is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants with a strong technical aptitude who are looking to start or develop their career in a hands‑on technical role, with excellent learning and development opportunities.

• Strong technical, mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, with a natural ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

• A willingness to learn, develop new skills and take on new challenges in a hands‑on technical environment.
• A proactive approach and willingness to go above and beyond to support our customers

Essential Requirements For This Role

• Demonstrated experience in a similar technical or field‑based role, with sound knowledge of IT, networking and related technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
• A strong customer service focus and professional approach
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• A current Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check. Additional certifications or security clearances may also apply
• The successful candidate will be required to complete relevant background checks in accordance with Konica Minolta's compliance requirements
