Job summary

Epson, a leader in printer and imaging markets, is seeking an IT guru to join our Pre-Sales team supporting our office and commercial print businesses.

Reporting to our Team Leader Pre-Sales, this role will act as a technical representative for our Victorian sales operations, supporting our sales team, dealers and customers.

Qualifications

• Configure, test, and troubleshoot print solutions in diverse IT environments.
• Translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions, product configurations, and service offerings.
• Experience presenting complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure.
• Print experience with A3 Multifunction Devices or Large Format printers is advantageous.
• Experience with third-party print management software such as PaperCut.

Reporting to our Team Leader Pre-Sales, this role will act as a technical representative for our Victorian sales operations, supporting our sales team, dealers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, test, and troubleshoot print solutions in diverse IT environments.
• Collaborate with the sales team & service team to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Provide technical pre-sales support, including product demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and customer events.
• Lead technical presentations, training, and workshops to demonstrate the value of Epson technology to clients.
• Assisting with installations either remotely or on-site at customer locations

Highly Desirable Skills & Experience:

• IT Network Integration:
• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network configuration.
• Technical Pre-Sales & Solution Design:
• Ability to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions, product configurations, and service offerings.
• Experience in presenting complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Print experience (advantageous but not essential):
• Background with A3 Multifunction Devices or Large Format printers (in Photo, proofing, signage, or textile).
• Experience with third-party print management software such as PaperCut.
• Project Management and Collaboration:
• Exceptional communication skills, and ability to deliver effective training.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications or certification in these areas will be highly regarded.
