Job summary

Insight is seeking a Solution Specialist for Microsoft AI Apps & Data in Australia. This hybrid role bases in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne and focuses on pre-sales rather than delivery, advising clients on Data & AI using Microsoft data platforms, AI services, and related tools.

You will lead discovery, architect solutions, and deliver compelling proposals and demonstrations while collaborating with technical teams to ensure smooth handovers and client success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in presales/consulting focusing on Data & AI.
• Experience with Microsoft data platforms including Azure Data Services, Power BI, Azure OpenAI, Fabric.
• Broad knowledge of Data & AI trends and architectures.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Proficiency with Draw.io, PowerPoint, MS Project, Markdown, Word and Excel.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth client discovery to gather Data & AI requirements.
• Develop and present Data & AI solutions using Microsoft platforms to executives.
• Create architecture diagrams and solution designs with Draw.io.
• Write proposals covering specs, project plans, and costs.
• Deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept to showcase value.
• Coordinate handovers between presales and implementation.
