Job summary

Ovolo Sydney is looking for an energetic and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager for its pre-opening phase. You will lead the front office team, set operational standards and ensure an effortless guest experience from day one.

You’ll work across the hotel’s departments to shape operations, training, and guest journeys, delivering an unmistakably Ovolo experience. A hands-on leader who can inspire, coach and adapt to the opening milestones is required.

Qualifications

• Front Office leadership experience is required.
• Strong guest service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Office team during the pre-opening phase and participate in team training and development.
• Shape the Front Office operation and guest experience from the ground up, setting service standards.
• Coach and develop a passionate Front Office team and lead by example on shift.
• Collaborate across Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless guest journeys.
• Drive guest engagement, service excellence and upsell opportunities; build lasting guest relationships.
• Develop future leaders and foster a high-performing team culture; work with senior leadership on the opening plan.
