Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Full-Time Practice Manager to lead Woodcrest Medical Centre in Australia. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support a multidisciplinary team across General Practice, Dental, Radiology and Treatment Room services, and drive service excellence to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Healthcare leadership experience required.
• Strong people leadership and team development skills.
• Experience in customer service, administration and operational management.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management systems.
• Knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare compliance (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support administrative and clinical support teams.

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Regional and National Leaders on key projects and initiatives.

The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Practice Manager to lead our Woodcrest Medical Centre.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, supporting a multidisciplinary team across General Practice, Dental, Radiology and Treatment Room services, while driving operational excellence and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Your Responsibilities

As the Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of the medical centre by:

• Leading and supporting administrative and clinical support teams

About You

We're looking for an engaging and motivated leader who brings:

• Previous leadership or management experience, ideally within a healthcare setting
• Strong people leadership and team development skills
• Experience in customer service, administration and operational management
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management systems
• Knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare compliance requirements (desirable)
• Qualification in Business Administration or Diploma of Practice Management (preferred)
