Myhealth Toowong is seeking an experienced Practice Manager with at least 2 years in GP practice management to lead a busy team and drive operational excellence in a full-time role.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, manage patient appointments and ensure high standards of care, with a focus on team culture and continuous development in a supportive environment. This role offers relocation assistance and a collaborative, values-led culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in GP practice management
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience managing nursing and administration staff preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager with a minimum of 2 years' experience in GP practice management to join our busy, fast-paced team at Myhealth Toowong on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with demonstrated leadership experience who enjoys a challenge and is confident in driving a practice forward.

As Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing daily operations, leading and developing the team, and ensuring the practice runs smoothly. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a busy, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on team culture, operational excellence and ongoing development.

A Day In The Life

• Collaborating with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows
• Overseeing the day-to-day practice operations with a focus on quality care
• Facilitating inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff
• Managing the diary scheduling system with the Clinical Team, including waitlist management and patient appointment coordination
• Providing solution-focused management to clinic operations and doctor queries
• Leading a team with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and patient care

What we're looking for

• Experience in GP practice management (min 2 years)
• Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
• A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations
